proc·ess... a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end, result, goal Today’s word was inspired by recent conversations between friends who at some point had challenges that can cause some to question the process. One thing that was evident is the Process evokes a lot of emotions at various points, especially when you don’t see or feel progress, or you compare your gain and experiences to others.
Often times I feel like I’m spinning my wheels making little to no gain and at those times I allow doubt to creep in and I question the process... What am I doing? Am I on the right track? Is it worth it? Am I deserving? On my self discovery journey I’m finding fear is a factor that will totally throw me off my game, fear of the unknown, and my own ability (or inability) to handle what’s on the other side. You’ve heard the saying to whom much is given much is required, what an amazing truth, the process is not only steps to an end result but preparation for what is coming. It’s work, so I must recognize and acknowledge the small gains that are so subtle, almost unnoticeable but enough to push me through another moment, I am learning to trust the process!
