a loss or something you give up, usually for the sake of a better cause.
Sacrifice... is more to do with choices, it’s not always called out but always present in any act that requires you to give up one thing for another. The concept of sacrifice keeps coming up as I engage others in conversations about dreams, aspirations, ideas, and mostly tough decisions. When you’re being pulled in so many directions, I use to think it was a matter of balancing and time management but now I realize it’s more about sacrifice, what are you willing to give up in order to give of yourself fully to your purpose? Sometimes the deciding question is... what’s the most important thing? And knowing that nothing great was ever accomplished without sacrifice!
